There are no service charges for international account openings through our International Banking Centre (IBC) for HSBC Premier customers. We can have your ATM card ready ahead of time before the move or sent to your new address overseas.

Yes, this is easy to do with HSBC Global View and Global Transfers. With Global View, you link and manage of all your eligible worldwide HSBC accounts with a single log on. This service is free for HSBC Premier customers.

Global View and Global Transfers are not available in all countries and territories where HSBC Premier is offered. The list of countries is subject to change.

Yes. In fact, if you already have an HSBC account, you'll be able to set up an international account in more than 30 destinations before you move. The annual account and opening fees will be waived for HSBC Premier customers who maintain the minimum balance in just one of their HSBC accounts. If you think you'll eventually move back, keeping your local account active will continue to build up your credit history so you don't have to start from scratch again.
